Our services.

  • The first step in bringing your idea to life. An approximately 30 minute to one hour process where we discuss your vision, peruse references and discuss a mutually agreeable approach to your project. This is your chance to ask any questions, provide any reference material and make any amendments to the basic initial design concepts.

    The consultation process cost is $100 + tax. Should you wish to proceed with booking the project, the consultation fee will be applied towards your deposit. Should you opt not to proceed, the $100 + tax will be used to cover your artist’s time. Please note this fee is non-refundable.

    If you are out of town/province/country and are travelling for your appointment, consultations can be arranged via Skype/Zoom. Contact us to arrange for this option.

  • For those looking for smaller work (approximately hand size or less) or a series of smaller, minimum style pieces at once, this is the option for you. We have a 2 hour minimum ($400 + tax) on any bookings made. This means that any appointments that take less than 2 hours, will be charged at our minimum rate. If you are seeking smaller, more simple pieces, it is good practice to plan to get a couple of these at once. This ensures you get the most our of your tattoo time (and money).

    Any work that exceeds the 2 hour minimum will be charged at our hourly rate of $200 + tax, per hour.

  • For larger scale or more complex projects (hand size or larger, to full body projects), we charge at a rate of $200 per hour (plus tax). These appointments are subject to our 2 hour minimum and can run as long as 4-5 hours. Multiple session projects usually require a period of three weeks to a month between sessions for healing time. If you are on a tighter schedule or only visiting the area and need appointments scheduled closer together, please mention that in your inquiry for so we can plan accordingly.

  • We are fortunate to have clients travel from far and wide to seek the Mercy Seat experience. Given the location of the studio, accommodation is not always easy to find, so this is where the travel package comes in. In addition to the tattoo, you can book to stay on the property whilst you are getting your work done. Facilities include loft bed, washroom with shower, kitchenette, internet, breakfast, coffee and tea and more.

    Accommodation services are booked at $120 + tax, per night, plus tax, in addition to the tattoo services rendered.

  • This option is for those not looking to get tattooed, but looking to have our artists apply their creativity and design capabilities to your product, branding or commissioned artwork. Rates vary significantly, depending on project - so please reach out via our contact form to discuss your requirements and for more detailed pricing.

HOW THIS WORKS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

  1. If you have visited us before or are confident your idea fits within our scope, skip to point 5.

  2. If you are a new client, visit our shop instagram, Jackson’s instagram, or visit this page and scroll down to the ‘Preferred Projects’ section to get an idea of our preferred style and the projects we will/won’t do.

  3. If you are still uncertain about whether your idea is one that fits with us, submit an inquiry through our contact form.

  4. We will let you know ASAP whether we will be able to take your project on, or if not, we will gladly recommend you to another artist/studio.

  5. If your project fits with us, feel free to use the calendar on the right to pick an appropriate time for your initial consultation. Please note, booking a consultation costs $100 + tax and this fee is applied towards your deposit if you book your tattoo. If you choose not to proceed, the fee is non refundable and goes towards covering the artist’s time - so please be sure before you book. If you have any uncertainty, you can always email us first.

  6. Once you have successfully booked your consultation time and date, you will receive an invoice to pay for your consultation. Please, kindly pay this invoice within 48 hours, or we may cancel your consultation.

  7. Once you are booked and paid, you will receive an email with the studio details. Please read these carefully.

  8. Bring any reference material with you for the consultation.

  9. After the consultation, should you wish to proceed, you will receive a link to book your appointment/s at a time that suits you best.

  10. Phew, that was a lot! If you’ve made it this far, we salute you and you may as well just book!
